Long range Distributed temperature Optical Fiber Cable
The LTM OFC can accommodate up to 8 fibers. It is a robust cable suitable for direct burial as it integrates rodent protection. The cable includes the optical fibers used for temperature monitoring as well as spare fibers for data communication between the instruments and the control room.

in each project, Omnisens in collaboration with its solution providers offers project management, specific design specifications with respect to project requirements, complete documentation and implementation plan, installation drawings, training, commissioning and deployment capabilities.

Additional System components

Depending on the project requirements, cabinet, uninterrupted power supplies, batteries, patch panels,
SO-N-2 optical switch modules, data server, can be provided as additional system components.

DRM / DRR / DRRM

DITEST-STA Distributed temperature and strain distributed sensing

Distance range extension (DRR) and Remote Measurement (DRM) modules
The DRR/DRM/DRRM DITEST modules are designed to extend the monitoring capabilities of the DITEST-STA measuring unit, enabling more than 250 km of monitoring distance without compromising on the measurement performances.

The DRR/DRM/DRRM DITEST modules can integrate multiple channel capabilities and are remotely controlled by the DITEST-STA unit via the integration of a dedicated DRM channel to the measuring unit.

Applications

The DITEST-LTM solution is designed to offer turnkey solutions for:

Pipeline flow assurance monitoring including detection and localization of leakage or blockage, abnormal temperature change or seabed migration.

Long distance temperature monitoring for power cables and overheadlines
